2ND FILIPINO INVENTORS TRADE EXPO IN QC

The Quezon City Government is once again taking pride in showcasing commercially-viable Filipino inventive ideas, products and processes in a five-day marketing event that will “Link Filipino Technology Resources and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (mSMEs)”.

More than 70 Filipino inventors, or more appropriately technology-based entrepreneurs, will be participating in the 2nd Quezon City Filipino Inventor’s Expo and Trade Fair which is being held from November 21 to 25 at the Quezon City Hall Plaza Covered Walk.

These home-grown 'techno-preneurs' will present products under the following categories: (a) beauty, health and wellness; (b) processed foods and beverages; (c) infrastructure; and (d) environmentally sustainable products and processes for the GTH, Handicrafts, Wearables and similar sectors.  

The Show is a project of the Quezon City Government, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).  It is being undertaken in line with the City's local economic development program to provide its micro and small enterprises with access to useful Filipino inventive ideas, products and processes for their businesses. It is likewise the City's contribution to creating a climate of consciousness and patronage of Filipino inventive ideas, products and processes that could help address the socio-economic development goals of the country.   

Parallel to the Trade Exhibition, a series of FREE seminars, learning sessions and technology demonstrations that will be of interest to inventors, entrepreneurs, students and the general public will likewise be conducted within the City Hall grounds.
