NATIONAL COOPERATIVES TRADE SHOW 2011 IN QC


The Quezon City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Herbert Bautista, is linking up with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and National Cooperative Development Council (NCDC) in presenting the 1st National Cooperatives Trade Show that will showcase Philippine Cooperative’s Quality Products and Services.

Fifty exhibitors composed of Cooperatives and small businesses that provide or support cooperative enterprises will be participating in the show which will run from November 28 to December 2 at the Quezon City Hall Pathwalk, Main Building.

A wide range of products and services will be on display from the following industry categories; (a) agro-industrial; (b) processed foods; (c) organics; (d) wearables; and, (e) gifts, toys and housewares.  Event visitors who are looking for unique and inexpensive gifts for Christmas can take advantage of this showcase.

HOME-GROWN TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES ON SHOW IN QC



Filipino inventors are once again converging in Quezon City for the Filipino Inventor's Expo and Trade Fair. 

This 5-day marketing event will provide the public with an opportunity to patronize Filipino inventive ideas, products and processes in the following categories: (a) beauty, health and wellness; (b) processed foods and beverages; (c) infrastructure; and (d) environmentally sustainable products and processes for the GTH, Handicrafts, Wearables and similar sectors.

Free seminars, learning sessions and technology demonstrations have likewise been scheduled, to include: Intellectual Property Rights Orientation (November 21, 1-4pm, Legislative Training Room A, Legislative Building); DOST-Invent School Orientation (November 22, 1-4pm, Legislative Training Room A, Legislative Building); Techno-Demo on Coco Genic( November 23, 9am-10am), Whitening Products ( 10:30am-11:30am ), Oregano Wine/Juice ( 9am-10am ), Alkaline Maker (10:30am-11:30am),Organic Recycling ( 1pm-2pm ), Rehabilitation & Alternative Healing ( 2:30pm-3:30pm ), Handy Welding ( 9am-10am ), Agri-Testing ( 10:30-11:30am ), Fire blanket ( 1pm-2pm ), Kitchen Utensils for Healthy Living ( 2:30pm-3:30pm ), Water Purifier ( 4pm-5pm ), Anti Cancer Herbs ( 9am-10am ), and Anos Fire Trucks ( 10:30am-11:30am ). All techno-Demo will be held at the Legislative Covered Walk.

2ND FILIPINO INVENTORS TRADE EXPO IN QC

The Quezon City Government is once again taking pride in showcasing commercially-viable Filipino inventive ideas, products and processes in a five-day marketing event that will “Link Filipino Technology Resources and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (mSMEs)”.

More than 70 Filipino inventors, or more appropriately technology-based entrepreneurs, will be participating in the 2nd Quezon City Filipino Inventor’s Expo and Trade Fair which is being held from November 21 to 25 at the Quezon City Hall Plaza Covered Walk.

These home-grown 'techno-preneurs' will present products under the following categories: (a) beauty, health and wellness; (b) processed foods and beverages; (c) infrastructure; and (d) environmentally sustainable products and processes for the GTH, Handicrafts, Wearables and similar sectors.  

The Show is a project of the Quezon City Government, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).  It is being undertaken in line with the City's local economic development program to provide its micro and small enterprises with access to useful Filipino inventive ideas, products and processes for their businesses. It is likewise the City's contribution to creating a climate of consciousness and patronage of Filipino inventive ideas, products and processes that could help address the socio-economic development goals of the country.   

Parallel to the Trade Exhibition, a series of FREE seminars, learning sessions and technology demonstrations that will be of interest to inventors, entrepreneurs, students and the general public will likewise be conducted within the City Hall grounds.
